5 Tips For a Homicidal Landing Page

We usual start off in Internet Marketing as affiliates. This is quite simply because we don’t really need to come up with our own websites, make our own products or create our own subscription services. We quite simply market a product that is already done.

This is very lucrative in itself but as we grow in the Business we start to realize that even though there is a lot of money in Marketing other peoples’ products there is also a lot of money in having a product of our own which other people will market.

This more than doubles our income streams because not only are we able to continue marketing other peoples products as an affiliate we are also having our own product marketed for us so we don’t have to ourselves. We start quite literally making money with our eyes closed (doesn’t that just feel wonderful even to think about?).

Now when We do have our own product it is important that We make the landing page (the page a customer goes to) have a high conversion rate. The conversion rate is the percentage of people who go to the site who actually buy our product.

Here I’m going to go through a few tips on how to make this Possible.

1) Copy The Best.

This may seem like stealing but the fact of the matter is that You want to look at pages of products in Your products niche that are converting at the highest rate. Find out what they are doing, how they are doing it. Why they’ve put certain things on their page and left other parts out. After doing this find out how You can mimic it and make Yours better. Take in the good and throw away the bad.

2) It’s all About the Headline.

I would honestly rather have the best headline in the world and paragraphs of nonsense in the body of a page than the opposite. In This day and age especially on the internet people want what they want and they want it there 2 weeks ago. If You’re headline doesn’t grab the visitor I assure You that You’ve already lost more than half of Your potential customers right there. The easiest way to make a great headline is to write it down, look at it and ask Yourself ‘does this grab me?’ If it doesn’t You just found one more thing to feed Your trash can. Forget about it. Re-write, re-write and re-write until You read it Yourself and think ‘Wow, I need to know the rest right now!’

3) Media.

No matter how much people say we ‘mature’ as we get older We really are all very childish at heart. Underneath the business suits, underneath the clever quips, We really all like shiny toys, books with pretty pictures and a couple scoops of ice cream in a nice cone now and again (even in winter!). Since We now know this, why not give the Child in Your visitors something to have fun with (’don’t be a meanie!’). Add cool looking graphics to Your landing page, some short videos, maybe a bit of flash (and before you get confused I do mean macromedia flash not flash like flashy cars). If Your able to add videos related to Your product that are cool enough some visitors might just return to see them again, granted it may be a small percentage but if they didn’t buy the first time just know Your chances get better the more they visit.

4) Have a Captivating Body.

This has nothing to do with going to the gym. I mean the body of Your Website should keep their attention after You got it with Your headline. The only pointers I can give You on this is to keep to the point and write it in an interesting manner. Don’t start telling Me stories about the Eiffel tower when I want to know how Your product is going to fix my computer. Also don’t start giving Me tonne of figures, get my heart and You’ll get my money so connect with me and I’ll buy. Remember Everybody Hates a Salesman but Everybody Loves a New Friend.

Be their New Friend who’s letting them know about something amazing You’re offering them to help them out.

Lastly Be Honest. If You’re product is worth it that will be easier than You think.

5) Don’t Force Your Way and If You do Use Force with Finesse

When You’re selling somebody something don’t try to scare them in to buying it. The fact of the matter is that Your product is going to better their lives so You’re actually doing them as much of a service as they are doing You. You are helping them and therefore why try to force them into buying?? If they don’t buy it’s their loss not yours.

They Say a customer is born Everyday. I disagree, want to know what I think?

A Customer is Born Every Second.
